Ange Postecoglou isn't just flavor of the month but flavor of the season so far, and has earned back-to-back Manager of the Month awards in recognition of the outstanding job he's doing.
Having lost talisman Harry Kane, he's rebuilt the side with a couple of shrewd signings, James Maddison in particular, and has got Spurs playing a dynamic and effective brand of soccer, the likes of which hasn't been seen here since Pochettino was unceremoniously ditched by Daniel Levy shortly before the opening of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Chelsea’s form, despite spending over a billion pounds so far in transfer fees, has been stuttering. They've managed to string together a few victories of late, though Pochettino has so many players to choose from he's yet to work out his best team. And all the while, the ominous figure of Todd Boehly looms large.
This has the potential to be a deeply unhappy occasion for Pochettino. You’ll need to watch a Tottenham vs Chelsea live stream to see how the game plays out, and we’ve got all the details you need down below. Spurs are the only remaining unbeaten in the league and will be confident of reclaiming their two-point advantage at the top of the standings with a win in the derby.
Chelsea's last league outing ended in a defeat at the hands of Brentford. They bounced back from that with a win over Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup. The game against their London rivals will prove to be challenging for the 12th-placed Blues with their current form.
Mauricio Pochettino tonight returns to Tottenham for the first time as Chelsea manager.
As if this London derby wasn’t fiery enough already, the sight of a former Spurs favourite arriving as part of a Blues set-up only adds to the sense of drama.
With Ange Postecoglou’s side flying high at the top of the Premier League and Chelsea yet to fully convince, it could be a fantastic night for the home side.
One of the most intense derbies around, there are intriguing subplots wherever you look. Here’s how to watch all the action tonight.
Two of the Premier League's biggest rivals clash on Monday night as Tottenham host Chelsea in what should prove to be a cracker in north London.
The hosts, who have started this season very strongly under new boss Ange Postecoglou, will be looking to reclaim top spot in the standings after Manchester City hit Bournemouth for six on Saturday with another win in this outing.
So far, Spurs are unbeaten through ten matches so former manager and new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will be even more desperate to get one over his old side.
He travels under pressure however, after a 2-0 loss at home to Brentford last time out in the league sees them enter here in the bottom half of the table.
Spurs are the only remaining unbeaten in the league and will be confident of reclaiming their two-point advantage at the top of the standings with a win in the derby.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou may be facing a dilemma at the left-back position ahead of the upcoming match against their London rivals. Destiny Udogie missed the previous game against Crystal Palace and his replacement Ben Davies had to come off at halftime due to an ankle problem.
Udogie is expected to feature but just in case neither player is deemed fit, Emerson Royal is expected to fill in.
Spurs are dealing with several injury concerns, with Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, Alfie Whiteman, and Ryan Sessegnon still recovering from surgeries.
Mauricio Pochettino is also dealing with injury concerns. Ben Chilwell is expected to be sidelined for a few more weeks due to a thigh injury. Several other players, including Romeo Lavia, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku, Trevoh Chalobah, and Carney Chukwuemeka will also be unavailable.
There is hope that Mykhaylo Mudryk will recover from his minor ailment in time for the match. However, Pochettino has indicated that Armando Broja is likely to be on the bench at best, despite having had a few days of training.
Spurs have four wins and one draw in their last five, and though the schedule has been generous to them, the performances tell a more complex story. Postecoglou's side has struggled at times to break down teams like Luton Town and Crystal Palace, who try to maintain defensive resolve against opponents like Spurs. The North Londoners have found a way to overcome that each and every time, though, in large part because of the form of Son Heung-min and James Maddison.
The pair will be available alongside most of Tottenham's mainstays and the squad received an additional boost last week when midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur made his long-awaited return after suffering an ACL tear in February. Left back Destiny Udogie's availability is unclear after he missed the previous game with a minor muscle injury.
The Blues seemed to recover from early season woes with wins over Fulham and Burnley in their last five games, but a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in which they relinquished a 2-0 lead and a 2-0 loss to Brentford last week renewed the questions about Chelsea. The team's attack still seems to have a Christopher Nkunku-sized hole as he recovers from knee surgery, but Raheem Sterling is filling in as the team's leading goalscorer with three goals this season.
A few players are out with long-term injuries but many of Pochettino's favorites should be around for this matchup, including midfielders Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer.
Tottenham are just one point away from the first spot on the table, which is currently taken by Manchester City with 27 points. But the good news is that Tottenham have a perfect record with four recent wins against Liverpool, Luton, Fulham and Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are struggling to climb places in the table, they were enjoying a recent winning streak but recently lost to Brentford by 0-2 at home. So far their record is 3-3-4.
Tottenham and Chelsea play for the 2023-2024 Premier League on Monday, November 6 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Tottenham are the clear favorites heading into the game. They are currently at the 2nd spot of the Premier League table, unbeaten in their first 10 games, and have scored 22 goals in the process. Chelsea, on the other hand, have had a disappointing start to the season. They are 12th in the table, have only won three league matches, and have scored 13 goals.
